23 Things You Can Do to Find Happiness In A Crisis

Out of transparency can I be honest with you?
This whole state of the world, health pandemic, financial collapse has got me a bit frazzled. I would be foolish to say that I have not been paying attention to it all. We have 8 kids with one on the way any day, I have to be aware of things happening and how they may impact my family directly.
Here is the thing though. I am hyper aware all day from the time I wake up to the time I lay in bed to close my eyes. From my phone to my laptop, from emails to the television, getting gas to tracking down toilet paper - it is hard to avoid.
It’s something I found myself almost obsessing about. Then something hit me. It was having a direct physical and mental impact in how I was able to operate throughout the day.
Does any of this sound familiar to you personally?
How about the clients that you serve?
How are they managing through it all?
We had some choices to make in our home. These choices led to a near 4 week isolation or self imposed quarantine. Each day our family spent time to reflect on the things that made us happy.
When we operate in a space of gratitude and thanks, it’s really hard to be lost in the stress of things that are out of our control.
We built a list of activities, actions and things to remember that directly helped positively impact how we feel. With permission from my family, I would like to share that with you.
We put together a list of things you can do to feel better when life feels down or out of your control.
Feel free to download, share in your office or email to your patients and families.
After all - we are in this together!
Respectfully,
Kolby
